What are yeast infection?

Vaginal yeast infections also called candidiasis is an infection which is casused due to the change in the vaginal bacterial and yeast count. When there is a change in the bacterial level or the yeast starts multiplying which cause infections. Some of the symtoms of a yeast infection are itching, swelling, a white thich discharge and irritation. Yeast infections are easily treatable. They are not a STI. However, sexual contact can spead the infection.
