What is an orgasm?

An orgasm is when an individual expriences the peak of sexual arousal and body flulids are released through the genitals. Orgasm looks different for different people. People with penis experience orgasm when they ejaculate (release of semen from the penis). People with vulva experienece orgasm as a feeling of intense physical pleasure and tension. There is an involantary contraction of the muscles around the genitals. However, orgasms vary from person to person in terms of frequency and intensity. Orgasms are not always the end goal of sex and sometimes the journey matters more.
