What is monogamy?

Monogamy is a relationship where two individuals are exclusively involved with each other, romantically and sexually. However a person's entire needs aren't reliant on a singular person and they can find emotional and platonic bonds outside of their relationship such as with a family member, friends, co-workers and more.
